Cluefinders- Early screens 1

Thankfully, one of the few things that I actually managed to salvage intact from my computer crash back in April was the work-in-progress on a game based around my Cluefinders/Sailor Moon idea. And, now that I finally have the full version of the software I was using, I can work on it again!

These are a few preliminary screens from the very beginning of the game. I have all the overworld sprites done for our heroes (and Laptrap, though I haven't been able to come up with a way for him to follow the team around without managing to trap the player into corners ) and part of Joni's battle set done. However, I still have to finish the other's battle sprites and I may end up re-writing the very beginning (not the first dungeon, but just the beginning) because I don't like it. It's just too convenient.

I can't promise how soon I'll get a working demo done, or even how good it will be should I get that far, but here's the first set of screenshots.
